SYNOPSIS



This is the story of kwe, a West African poet/musician on his quest to record an album of devotional music. Embarking on a coast-to-coast road trip from Mt Shasta to Boston to reconnect with members of the Music Is Healing crew, the journey explores stories of origins, belonging and becoming, and what it means to live in the Age of Akwerius. With the backdrop of a man’s reflective journey, and stunning footage and inner views with amazing singers and players of instruments, an inspiring story emerges from the Bright Side.
